Body hair marks a border between inside en outside, between public and private. Shaving and trimming it myself feels like a ritual, with all sorts of cultural connotations around hygiene and fashion. During a few weeks I've collected my own hair and used it to make cyanotype prints. I wanted to see whether it make the surface of the picture feel like skin.
